The authorities of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have released the 41th convocation ceremonies programme of events as follow:
Monday 23rd November, 2015.
11.00 a.m. – Founder’s Day Lecture (Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium)
Wednesday, 25th November, 2015
- 10.00 a.m. – Installation of the Chancellor (Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium)
- 1.00 p.m. – Luncheon (Venue – Banquet Hall)
Thursday, 26th November, 2015.
- 10.00 a.m. – Presentation of Prizes: Award of Certificates, Diplomas and First Degrees in the Faculties of Agriculture, Arts, School of Dentistry, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculties of Education, Engineering, Law and Life Sciences
(Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium)
Friday, 27th November, 2015
- 10.00 a.m. – Presentation of Prizes: Award of Certificates, Diplomas and First Degrees in the Faculties of Management Sciences, School of Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Institute of Education and IPAES.
(Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium) - 3.00 p.m. – Convocation Lecture (Venue – Akin-Deko Auditorium)
- 5.00 p.m. – Cocktail Party/Variety Show (Venue – Capitol)
Saturday, 28th November, 2015
- 10.30 a.m. – Presentation of Prizes: Award of Post-Graduate Diplomas, Conferment of Higher Degrees (Masters & Doctorate) and Conferment of Honorary Degrees/Professor Emeritus.

Issuance of Academic Outfits
Issuance of Gowns/ Outfits begins on:
Monday, 23rd November (8 am – 5pm) 2015 to Saturday, 28th November (7:30 am – 10:00am)
Venue for collection: Back of Basement.
