Below is Uniben Students’ Union Elections (Executive &Parliament) Time Table for 2016/2017 academic session.
Fri. 30th June, 2017- thur .29th June, 2017 — Collection and submission of nomination forms into the Students’ Union Executive and paliament. Ends at 6pm on Thursday 29th June, 2017.
Fri. 30th June, 2017. — Screening of aspirants for Students’ Union Executive by Electoral Commission.
— Screening of aspirants for Students’ Union Parliament by Electoral Commission.
Sat. 1st July, 2017 — Report of security clearance/screening and display of results for Executives.
— Submission of all appeals
— Appeals after 100:00am on 3rd July, 2017 shall not be entertained
Mon. 3rd July, 2017 — Resolution of all appeals and display of final Results. (Executives and Parliaments) Time: 1pm.
Mon. 3rd July, 2017 — Commission’s interactive/debate session with the aspirants.(Ugbowo & Ekewan Campuses)
Venue: Main Auditorium, Ugbowo Campus
Time: 1pm – 6pm
Tue. 4th July, 2017 —- Manifesto day by aspirants to the Students’ Union Executive Positions.
Time: 10:00am
Venue: Hall Two Car Park.
Wed. 5th July, 2017 — General elections (Students’ Union Executive). Final declaration of election results.
Thur. 6th July, 2017 — Swearing- in Ceremony of newly elected Executive officers at 10:00am
Thur. 6th July, 2017 — Inaugural meeting of parliament/ Elections of Parliamentary officers at 1pm. @ indoor Sport Hall
Fri.7th July, 2017 — Swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Parliamentary officers/Judicial Officers at 10:00am @ Senate Chambers
